I just met with my assistant Cristina and reviewed the basic requirements for Canadian employers wanting to employ a foreign worker.
Generally speaking, an employer will need to apply for a Labour Market Opinion (LMO).
There are exceptions to the LMO requirement including provisions under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
